Disneyland Engagement Session with Anthony and Amanda

Anthony and Amanda

We had the pleasure of capturing Disneyland engagement memories for Anthony and Amanda back in October, in preparation for their wedding in July of 2017. We had so much fun with this session simply because of the connection Anthony and Amanda shared. With Amanda’s playful, Disney blue dress choice paired with Anthony’s gentlemen like disposition, they made this session a “walk in the park.”

The weather couldn’t have been better either. Clear skies and warm light provided the best combination for this engagement session. The park was slightly crowded, but that didn’t stop them from having fun and showing off the love they share with one another.

A little background

Anthony and Amanda actually met at a wedding. Anthony was the best man and Amanda was the maid of honor. That night, they hit it off right away and have never looked back. Anthony proposed to Amanda in Northern Michigan where they took their first weekend getaway, and now they’re planning their wedding together.

Amanda LOVES the movie Nightmare Before Christmas, and couldn’t wait to visit Disneyland in October, when Disney renovates the park with Halloween colors and decor. Amanda and Anthony decided to book a last minute trip to the Disney Resort and commemorate their engagement with portraits.

The Session

As always, we made sure to capture Disneyland’s iconic features as part of this session. We captured multiple angles of Sleeping Beauty’s castle, as well as King Arthur’s Carousel, Dumbo, and Amanda’s favorites, the Mad tea party Tea Cups and the Haunted Mansion. As part of their two hour session, we made sure to also get iconic features of the California Adventure park too.

Throughout the entire session, Anthony couldn’t stop looking at Amanda. He was so excited to record these moments with Amanda and to capture how he feels for her. These two were really kids at heart and there was no better place to have their engagement portraits taken than at Disneyland.
