1. BOOKING ONLINE

Our calendar is available to view when you start to book your session online. You can choose a date and time you want, based on our posted availability. Contact us directly if a date or time is not available on our calendar. You can text us at 424-242-2749.

2. CREATING – YOUR PHOTOSHOOT

One of us will meet up on the day and time of your session at the location of your choice, to capture some amazing memories. After the session, I’ll schedule an online screen-share appointment to review your images and choose your favorites.

3. REVIEWING – CHOOSING YOUR PORTRAITS

Together, I’ll help you review and choose which images you would like to have Signature Finished.

During that call, I’ll go over all the [purchase options] for your images. You’ll then choose the package that is the best fit for you.

4. DOWNLOAD & ENJOY!

I’ll correct your images using our “Signature Finish” process so that your images will look amazing!
* Delivery of your digital images is approx 2 to 4 weeks; usually sooner though!

Now you can download and enjoy printing, and sharing your images online. If there are printed items included in your package, you would also request them at this point in the process.


The Process

  • What is the standard process for your sessions?
    1. All our clients schedule their sessions online, which allows you to choose the date and time that best fits your schedule, and allows you to pay online if there is a creative fee.
    2. We meet up on the date, time, and location you choose; and capture some amazing memories.
    3. We then schedule a phone call to go over your images together. You will have a chance to view your session images and choose your favorites.
    4. Once your favorite images are chosen, we will then discuss the purchasing options for your images.
    5. As soon as we receive all the details of your order and your invoice is paid in full, your images will be delivered within 3 to 4 weeks. At that point, you will be able to choose the images that will be printed, if there are items included in your package.
    6. The entire process should take approximately 4 to 6 weeks, from your session date to the delivery of your prints.

Scheduling Your Session

  • How can I book my session with you?
    • The best and quickest method is to first text us at 424-242-2749, which we would then provide you a link to book through our online schedule system.

  • Where can I see your availability?
    • All our available dates are posted online through our online schedule system.
  • Do I have to pay the creative fee when I book my session?
    • Yes. Paying your creative fee reserves that specific date and time on our calendar just for you. No one else will be able to book that time.
    • Payment for your creative fee is done online, and all major credit cards are accepted. Your payment information will not be stored, so we may ask for your payment information again once you’ve placed your portrait package order.
  • Where are your approved shooting locations?
    • Our approved locations are chosen using a list of preferred criteria. An approved location depends on how photographic the location is and the opportunities to shoot in different areas and at different angles without a high chance of having distracting or a displeasing background.
    • We are also limited by the area we service. As much as we LOVE to go to Las Vegas, the distance is a little too far for us to include in our approved locations list.
    • All our locations are listed online and can be selected by you when booking your session through our online schedule system.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    • Cancellations cannot be made within one week prior to your session date with the quick link provided to you in your confirmation email.
    • If you decide to cancel your session within those 7 days, you will need to contact Adam and Claudia Photography via email and will receive a 50% refund of the paid session fee.
    • Appointments that are canceled 7 or more days in advance of their session date will receive a refund of their session fee, minus a 5% transaction fee.
    • Refunds will be issued 1 to 2 weeks from the cancellation date.
    • No portion of your session fee will be refunded from a cancellation made within 72 hours of your session date.
  • What is your rescheduling policy?
    • If you need to change your session time/date (reschedule), you may use the quick link (provided in your confirmation email) until one week prior to your session date; after which you would need to contact Adam and Claudia Photography for approval to change your session time or date. You may reach out to us via text to reschedule your session.
    • Clients are allowed ONE rescheduled time per paid session fee.
    • A session that has been rescheduled cannot be canceled for a refund of any portion of the session fee.
  • Where do we meet for our session?
    • For most local beaches: We usually will meet under the pier, closest to the water.
    • For most local Parks: We can meet at the entrance of park
    • Disneyland Sessions: We meet at the Firehouse on Main Street
    • Disney’s California Adventure Park: We meet at the fountain, in front of the Carthay Circle Restaurant

Pricing & Packages

  • What are your package prices?
    • All our packages are designed around digital image usage rights (not copyrights). This means that you will be able to download any images you purchase. Your images will be the full-resolution digital images that you may share, post, and print from.
    • Every image you purchase in a standard package (bronze, silver, gold, and diamond) will also be Signature Finished, to make sure that you receive the best representation of your images; ones that we would be proud to display in our own home!

  • Can I just get all the images?
    • I think this is one of our most important differentiators from most other photography studios. Instead of handing off 600 images you might use, our selection process makes sure that the images you purchase are the images you’ll want to use. You get to select every image you love, to include in your package. We then spend the majority of our processing time Signature Finishing and digitally “polishing” your favorites, making sure they look the best they can.
    • It’s usually not necessary for our clients to receive all the images taken during their session. Part of our process in achieving the look we give our photography is going through every purchased image, to correct and polish them for printing. If you did purchase all the images in your session, we would need to spend a considerable amount of time correcting ALL your images, which would make this purchase very expensive.
    • We do have options that include the “ALL IMAGES” item though, called our Digital Portfolio. Images included in our digital portfolio option are not signature finished, but are given a basic edit and made available for download.

Making an order

  • How will I make my order once the photos are taken?
    • Orders are normally taken over the phone or through email after you have reviewed your images and have made your selection of favorites.
  • Do you include digital corrections for the images I purchase?
    • Yes, we do. We offer a Signature Finishing service for our images to make them look amazing.
      There are certain limitations to these corrections though.
      • Included: Basic and mildly difficult corrections are included with our signature finished images. For example, we can adjust the color, contrast, apply special effects, conversion to black and white, and other artistic changes that can be made to a photo as a whole. Other manipulations such as taking a bird out of the sky are simple corrections we include as well.
      • Not included: Corrections that require a great deal of manipulation and editing time to perform, such as switching heads from one photo to another, “weight-loss” manipulation, frizzy hair, glare in glasses, removing people from the background, wrinkles in clothes, etc. Any time a request requires manipulating the physical form of any object or person or adding/removing items would qualify as a composite image and is not included in the Signature Finish service. If you have any questions about what is or is not included in this service, please ask these questions during your image viewing appointment.
  • What does the Signature Finish service look like?
  • What is the turnaround time after I order my package?
    • After all the package details are submitted by the client and the order is paid in full, most orders are delivered within 2 to 4 weeks.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    • We accept Major Credit Cards; as well as cash or money orders. All purchases that are made over the phone will be completed by filling out an online payment agreement and will be approved and signed by the client before payment is completed.

Scheduling Policies

CREATIVE FEE: The Creative fee or session fee must be paid in full before the date of the session.

Adam and Claudia Photography has the right to reschedule the session start time in the event there is a scheduling overlap or error. The photographer will perform all needed actions to inform the client of the changing time including texting and email.

Session Policies

FEES INCURRED FROM LOCATION CHOICE: Client is liable for any and all parking and admission fees that any location requires them to pay. If Adam and Claudia pay for any associated location fees, those fees will be billed back to the client at the time the client purchases their images.
*** There are no parking fees due to Adam and Claudia Photography for Disneyland Sessions.

PROPS: The Client is to bring any props that they would like to include in their session. Adam and Claudia Photography does not bring/provide props for the session.

NON-ACCESS TO LOCATION: If the Client is not allowed access to the location based on their outfit or choice of props, the session cannot be rescheduled for another time. It is the client’s responsibility to check with the location about what the location allows in terms of props or clothing.

LATE ARRIVAL: If the client arrives after their session start time, the session will still end at the agreed time without being granted an extension of session time. If the photographer is late to the session, the session end time will be extended to grant the client their agreed full session time.

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

During the photography session, taking photos with any device including cell phones, cameras, video cameras, or other devices is prohibited and Adam & Claudia Photography reserves the right to cancel the session at any time (even during the session) without granting a refund of the paid creative fee. Please inform all members of your party of this policy before your session starts.

Making an Order Policies

MAKING A PURCHASE: Once the session is complete, a phone call will be arranged to review the images from the session. At that point, the client will have to purchase the images to gain access and personal usage rights to them.

MONTHLY PAYMENTS: Monthly Payments are available for our standard packages. If the client opts to make regular monthly payments for their purchase, their order will not be processed or delivered until the balance is paid in full.

COMPLIMENTARY ITEMS: Any complimentary item that is added to the purchase of a standard package is an “add-on” item, at no cost to the client.

Shipping fees will be added to your package total, when applicable.

Digital Image Policies

COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP: Adam and Claudia Photography will remain the copyright owners of all images from the session, though the client will have “personal usage rights” granted to them for only the images they purchased once the order is paid in full and the images have been released to them.

MODIFYING YOUR IMAGES: Editing or modifying an image to post online or on social media is a violation of the personal usage agreement. Each Client agrees to not change, edit, or modify any delivered image unless such is beneficial to making prints and the client has obtained permission from Adam and Claudia Photography.

*** Cropping an image does not qualify as a modification, and is allowed under the “personal usage rights” policy.

Social Sharing Policies

When sharing or posting an image online, The Client agrees to give proper credit to Adam and Claudia Photography by linking their Facebook, Instagram, or website pages within each post.

Every image you purchase will also be hand corrected a second time to make sure that you receive the best representation of your images; ones that we would be proud to display in our own home!

  • Can I just get a CD of all the images?

    I think this is one reason we operate differently from most other photography studios. Instead of handing you a cd full of 600 images you "might" use, our process makes sure that the images you purchase are the images you want to use. You get to hand pick every image you love, to include into your package. We then hand correct and polish just those images. We spend the bulk of our processing time making sure those images look absolutely the best they can.

    It's usually not necessary for our clients to receive all the images from their session. Part of our process in achieving the look we give our photography is going through every purchased image a second time to correct and polish them for printing. We would spend a considerable amount of time correcting ALL your images, which would make this purchase very expensive. We do have packages that offer something close to the “CD with all the images” item though.

  • What is the Professional Print Credit in each package?

    The print credit is given as part of a standard package and is used for professional prints once your images have been completed and delivered.

    The print credit can only be used for prints or canvases and cannot be substituted or applied to any other items such as books, gift items or credited toward your package price.

  • How will I make my order once the photos are taken?

    Orders are normally taken over the phone or through email, after you have reviewed your images through an online gallery and have chosen your favorite images to be hand corrected.

  • How will I order the prints included in my package?

    Each package comes with a print credit that you may use toward additional prints. Once your images have been hand corrected and uploaded to the online gallery, you will be able to view the finished images and place your order for your prints using a unique ordering code during checkout. For portrait sessions, the print credit is in addition to the free 16x20 print that will be added to your package.

  • If I decide not to make an order, do I still get my free print?

    In short, no. The free item is added to your purchase. Your order must include a minimum of a bronze package.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover; as well as checks (electronic transfer) and cash or money orders. All purchases that are made over the phone will be completed by filling out an online payment agreement; and will be approved and signed by the client before payment is completed.
